Low energy computing
Thin clients have been available for a long time, they have become powerful enough to handle all but the most demanding tasks seen in the workplace. A business workstation typically contains excessive processing power and storage for the work it's being asked to do. This power comes at a price. Desktop computers usually consume 100 - 150W of power and the costs of running just a hundred such systems can account for a large percentage of a business's running costs. As more business tasks become web oriented, the work station as we know it becomes much less important.
Based on the Intel Atom processor, our low power workstation PC consumes just 33W of power during normal use. Compared to a traditional PC this represent a 70% saving in energy use.

Ask anyone to describe a wind farm and no doubt, they will describe a large propeller fixed to a tower. They'll also tell you that they are ruining the countryside and are a danger to wildlife. We think that wind energy should not mean littering the nation’s beauty spots with massive propeller turbines. We feel that a better solution is to have a more local approach to power generation. With this in mind we have created a wind turbine that can be situated in an urban environment and can be integrated directly into a building’s power system.
Our turbines are discreet, quiet and are ideally suited to turbulent wind environments such as those found in a city centre.
